The Weight Loss Journey Of Rex Harris
Thanks for taking a moment to stop by my hub. My name is Rex Harris. After a life long struggle with my weight I have finally decided that enough was enough and it's time to do something about it.
In October of 2008, after years of health related problems, I received an artificial aortic heart valve to replace the valve I was born with, which was bicuspid, versus tricuspid. The bicuspid valve enlarged my heart to the point of replacement or death. Needless to say, I chose option A.
I have created a blog (see link menu below) where I am documenting the entire journey.
The day I went in for surgery I was tipping the scales at almost 340 lbs. (337 actually). Today I'm back under 300 lbs. (294 as of 8/24/09) and am progressing toward my target weight of 220 lbs, which I hope to hit in early 2010 or sooner.
Thanks again for stopping by my hub. I look forward to hearing from you on my blog!
Cheers!

The reason I can't lose weight is that I am already the perfect weight - I am 160 pounds and 6'0" I don't understand any of the talk about "I can't lose weight" - sorry, Rex, that's just the way it is. It seems to me it is almost all in portion control, metabolism and activity, in that order.
You are on a great path making awesome progress. Keep up the good work Rex you truly are yesterdays fat guy. It's very important to have the proper food intake with excercise and it seems that your energy drinks are making the difference for you.
